Good news for the marist laity

The development of the Marist laity in the world is so spectacular and crea-tive that the Institute?s Bureau of the Laity and that of Publications have decided to remodel the former ?Laity Page? on our website, creating a new portal entitled ?Lay Marists?.

The aims of this modification are many:

1. To make everything that happens in the world of the Marist laity and its rela-tionship with the Institute known in a ?more visible and rapid? way.
2. To provide information, reflections and resources on lay themes in a more interactive way, by weaving networks between the websites where there is a presence of Marist laity.
3. To make the access to this portal more ?practical? for finding and ?download-ing? materials that are interesting, at the same time as the users can ?attach? what they consider to be interesting to show to others.
4. To have access to interesting materials of other laity networks belonging to other congregations and ecclesial movements.

Today, the 9th February 2007, we have the joy of presenting to you the new version of this section, which you can access from the home page by clicking on the logo of the Bureau of the Laity, the work of our dear friend Andrés Gil, lay Marist, belonging to the Marist Province of Ibérica.

Take advantage of its contents and possibilities of connecting you with other Marists, laypeople and brothers, of the entire world. We would appreciate it if you could send us any sort of suggestion that would help improve our ?website?, at the same time as enriching it with all sorts of news, reflections, research, invi-tations, photographs, songs, poetry, etc. related to the subject.
