Perpetual profession of Brother Than Hua
On October 21st, Brother Than Hua, from the Province of L’Hermitage, made his perpetual profession as a religious Brother in the Marist Institute. The profession was celebrated in Saint Genis Laval, France, and the vows were received by the Provincial, Brother Gabriel Villa-Real, on behalf of the Superior General.
Born in Vietnam, Brother Than arrived in France as an immigrant. He then studied engineering, specializing in wind energy. When he showed an interest in religious life, he was guided by Brother Bonaventure Tran Cong-Lao, also from Vietnam, who lives in St-Genis-Laval.
He began his Marist formation in France. He did his postulancy at Notre-Dame de l’Hermitage and then his novitiate in Seville. He currently works in youth ministry in France and his great desire is to dedicate himself to refugees.
