With the pilgrim Mary we accompany Marist life in the Americas

With the General Conference finished, the Brother Provincials and District Superiors of the Americas present at the Hermitage had a meeting on 30 September and 1 October. Other Brothers also took part : the Directors of the Secretariats, the Superior General, Emili Turú, the liaison General Councillors of the Americas, Josep Maria Soteras and Eugène Kabanguka, and Valdícer Fachi, co-ordinator of the Inter-American Commission of Mission.

The motto of the meeting was : « With the pilgrim Mary we accompany Marist life in the Americas », and the objectives were :

* to reinforce the mission of animation of the Provincials of the Americas ;
* to reread the calls of the General Conference for the American continent ;
* to discern and approve the structure of the organisation of CIAP ;
* to evaluate and approve the strategic plans of the Commission and Sub-commissions of the Americas ;
* to reflect on and encourage possible international collaboration in the Americas.
