Marist Young Adult Program Newsletter

The summer is almost over and many of us are moving back into colleges or staring new adventures. I hope that you had a good summer and enjoyed some fun and relaxation!

I was blessed this summer to be able to spend a week walking in the footsteps of Fr. Champagnat at the Hermitage in France. What an amazing trip! I remember the first time I heard the stories of the dying Jean Baptiste Montagne, the Memorare in the Snow and the building of the Hermitage. To see the birth places of our Marist heritage was a breath taking and an inspiring journey that made these stories come to life. I strongly recommend this trip. A group from the United States will be returning to the Hermitage in the summer of 2014, so start saving now!

Here in the USA, there were a few barbecues, an evening in Bryant Park and a camping trip in Esopus this summer. You can read more about these events below. If you were not able to join us for any of these events, I hope that you will take the opportunity to reconnect during the year. The Marist Young Adult Advisory Committee will be making sure that there are plenty of opportunities.

Check out our website www.MaristYoungAdult.com  for more information on events throughout the year. If you have any questions or a suggestion for an event please feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Peace,
