The Matola Noviciate receives a new chaplain

TheA few days ago I gave a briefing about our life here at Matola Noviciate where we are blessed with 23 novices mainly from Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Our pioneer champlain was transferred to Namacha Parish by his Provincial a week ago. Our fear was that we shall be left as orphans for some time. Thank God, a Consolate priest, Father Joseph from Kenya responded positively to our request and we feel happy to have someone to inimate our spiritual life especially in the area of Sacraments. He speaks English and has been here in Mozambique since 1987 and he has a good command of portuguese too. Bravo Father Joseph for coming to our rescue and your will be connected to our Marist worldwide networks and be assured of the brothers prayers for the good services you will be rendering to our young men interested in the Marist life.

Your heart touching homilies will never fail to find an echo in their hearts esepcially now that they are at the intiation stage of their life. We have already noted that you always mention our Saint Marcellin each time you mention other saints during the Eucharistic prayer. We are more than willing to collaborate with you as we help the young men in their discernment journey. This phone was taken when their remembering their founder day and he joined the youth by dancing in turns in the circle centre.
