Province of Norandina

The New Year is always an occasion from which we profit in the Province of Norandina for a ?Plenary Session? of the different Provincial Commissions.
This year, this has taken place in our retreat house in Los Teques (Venezuela) between the 5th and the 8th February. At other times, these plenary sessions have taken place in our houses in Chachagüí, (Colombia-2005), and Quito (Ecuador-2006)
Convoked by the Brother Provincial and his Council, thirty-five brothers and laypeople met, coming from the three countries that constitute the Province of Norandina. The participants belong to the following Provincial Commissions: Pastoral Care of the Brothers and Communities, Educational Ministry, Initial Formation, Youth Ministry, Vocations Ministry and the Finance Commission.

These were three days of open and sincere dialogue, of revision and of planning; days of study of a few subjects that have the most influence in the life of the Province; days of shared prayer with a simple and fraternal faith and also for ?taking the pulse? of our creativity and sharing, of ?creating the dream? and of feeling the support and strength of the brothers in our weaknesses and our fears, and mainly, TO HAVE A BETTER KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROVINCE, TO LIVE THIS OUT MORE AND TO CONSOLIDATE the process started with restructuring.
