Adelaide Marists commemorate the arrival of Bicentenary Paintings

Members of the Association of St Marcellin Champagnat, the Marist Youth Ministry and a number of the Brothers of Adelaide came together in the Sacred Heart College Chapel before two of the Bicentenary Paintings – one depicting the Fourviere Pledge, and the other, The Dying Boy – to acknowledge the passing of 200 years since Saint Marcellin Champagnat welcomed Jean-Baptiste Audra and Jean-Marie Granjon into a small house at La Valla on 2 January 1817. At the conclusion of the Liturgy, which was prepared by Mr James Gill, the Sacred Heart Director for Marist Mission, all present gathered in the Paringa Hall Parlour for some refreshments.
